Annie from Australia here!
You are astonishing!
Now before we begin…
Grab a glass of water …or your favorite beverage- I’m drinking filtered rainwater…Listening to Music for the Mind…
Let’s take a moment for some perspective… stop and breathe.
Can I take a moment to introduce you to an amazing woman my Mum –
She gives the best hugs and the first thing you noticed is her ever ready smile of acceptance.
When I was very young my Mum would recite poetry…
Then there was my favorite poem.
A smile costs nothing, but gives so much,
it enriches those who give
– without making poorer those who receive.
It takes but a moment but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.
…If someone can’t afford a smile… give them one of yours.
We had the words of this poster on the bathroom door –
So every time I went to the bathroom,
I would remember the decision I had to make from the ENT Specialist –
to die in 5 years or possibly not smile on that side of my face ever again.
It all seemed too hard…
The choices went round and round in my mind.
Die in 5 years or
Get the muscles in my face, cut in the operation and never smile again?
I would only have half a smile and you know – half a smile isn’t a real smile!
Or wait a minute to die – stop breathing – expire in 5 years isn’t a good option either.
I would be 22.
22 is too young to die!
How can you – appreciate the natural gifts you have today? Smile – it makes people wonder what you’ve been up to…
Create a great day!
Embrace, Encourage, Empower!
Remember – Caring for the Whole World Includes Caring for You!
Congratulations! – On Taking this moment just for You!
Stop by again tomorrow! I’ll tell you about my decision!
